Nyati jjj Mampoer & Liqueurs...
Buffalo Hills is unique as a game reserve because it has its own pot stills
creating its own range of traditional South African liqueurs - and because
every game drive at Buffalo Hills includes a tour and tasting in the Nyati
jjj Mampoer & Liqueur Distillery.
-
Mampoer
Once illegally brewed by every Boer worthy of the name - is the
truly South African drink that was immortalised in the short stories
by Herman Charles Bosman (Mafeking Road - published by Human and
Rousseau. Cape Town, 1980);
-
Nyati jjj products
(jjj = Jack’s Jungle Juice) have won numerous awards in various
national competitions and are produced to the highest levels of
purity using the most hygienic, modern methods without sacrificing
anything of the spirit or taste of the originals
