Situated in a malaria free area on South Africa's picturesque Garden Route (Eden), Nyaru Game Lodge nestles between the Outeniqua Mountains and surrounding beaches. Nyaru Game Lodge is strategically situated in the heart of the Garden Route (Eden), only 3 Hours drive from Cape Town, 30 minutes drive from the George Airport and 10 minutes drive off the N2 from Mossel Bay on the R328 to Oudtshoorn. 

Nyaru Private Game Reserve offers visitors a unique safari experience with accommodation, 4 X 4 wildlife safaris, quad bike safaris and nature walks.  

The central focus of the lodge is the thatched restaurant/lapa area with seating for a maximum for up to 100 people with licensed bar, lounge, dining and conference facilities. Traditional cuisine is served at the restaurant. Meals can also be served on the deck area to make it a special affair with a crackling fire under the stars. 

Guests will be treated on a 2 1/2 hour 4x4 game drive to view 17 different species of game and wildlife i.e. giraffe, sable, duiker, bushbuck, zebra, nyala, waterbuck, mountain reedbuck, bontebuck, blue wildebeest, bush pig, ostriches, secretary birds and the famous fish eagles. 

The environment is free of all distractions, leaving one to soak in the peace and tranquillity of the bush. If required guests can be taken on walking trails to have a close experience of the bush, fauna, flora and bird life.

• Five chalets (2 x Two bedroom and 3 x One bedroom) with acccommodation for up to a maximum of 19 persons
• Use of other facilities at the Lodge

• Two cleaning staff, two barmen, two waitresses
• Cutlery, glasses and placemats
• A complimentary guided game drive for guests staying over
