breakfast rooms with beautiful views of the sea and mountains.
All this is within a short drive to the beaches at Fish Hoek, Kommetjie,
Noordhoek and Simonstown.
Bed and Breakfast Guest House in Cape Town
The guest house facilities include the two bedroom Burrow which opens onto
the pool, The Nest, which is a snug garden log cabin suitable for a couple,
and the Cave which offers luxury double bed and breakfast or self catering
accommodation. The Burrow and Nest are fully equipped for a self catering
holiday and all three units have T.V with M-Net. The Burrow has a lounge
with stone fireplace for added warmth and atmosphere in winter.

Additional Facilities
The sparkling pool leading out from the Burrow is for use by all the guests
at the lodge. This lovely outdoor area is wind-protected and most suitable
for sunbathing. There are also braai facilities in the pool area. The lodge
has secure parking within the fenced property which has access controlled
gates. Guests are warmly welcomed to Makapa Lodge by Kees and Hannah
Lugthart.
Dutch and German are fluently
spoken.
Local Attractions
Central to whale viewing, Cape Point Nature Reserve, Boulders Beach with its
famous Jackass Penguins, Constantia and other wine wine routes, Noordhoek
art route, Kirstenbosch and many focal points. Horse riding, mountain walks,
cycling, yachting, golf etc close by.
