Suikerbossie has magnificent
views overlooking the valley of Hout Bay with Chapman's Peak and the bay
below.Flanked on the west by Llandudno beach, while Table Mountain forms the
backdrop to the restaurant.
These views provide a wonderful atmosphere for your wedding day / function
where drinks can be served on the lawns, while photographs are taken.
Restaurant open daily 9.00am till
5.00pm, closed on Mondays, also serving Famous Buffet Breakfast and Carvery

Weddings and
Functions
Weddings / functions are
co-ordinated by owners' David and Miki Smith, who have operated this
successful restaurant since 1990. The team is completed by mangeress, Nadia
Williams and Sous Chef, Deon Conway.
A Kosher kitchen was built in 1998 (catering is supervised under the Beth
Din), which allows the restaurant to host
Kosher weddings / functions.
Venues
Suikerbossie has Two Venues:
The Upstairs Venue for smaller functions and the Downstairs Venue for larger
functions
The Downstairs Venue
The downstairs venue caters for a minimum of 100 guests and a maximum of
180.
The wedding ceremony can be held in the garden at no extra charge - gazebo,
chairs, umbrellas and the use of our sound system can be utilised to
announce the arrival of the bride. A bad-weather plan can be made with the
ceremony taking place in the restaurant and the use of a red carpet can be
made available for the bride's entrance. A log fire in our stone fireplace
creates a warm and cosy atmosphere.
The Upstairs Venue
The upstairs venue caters for small, intimate functions. A minimum of 50
guests or a maximum of 70 can be catered for.
