Nora Barnard of Dream Nails started in South Africa in 1983. After realizing that there was a general lack of nail expertise here, Nora went to America to research the nail industry, nail franchise operations and product range quality and availability.

After extensive research into the nail industry and the completion of several courses, including a diploma course in Nail Sculpturing Training cleared with the USA State Board of Cosmetology, Nora returned to the RSA.

She returned with the latest techniques, safe products and the expertise to set up a fully-fledged nail sculpturing Franchise Company – Dream Nails.

Our studios are full compliment skincare & nail studios. All our staff are highly trained and fully qualified.
All our Dream Nails tech's are fully educated in all the nail systems: Sculptured acrylic, acrylic overlay, fibre/silk and gel nails. All our tech's have gone through a full 3 week training course and have passed a theory and practical exam having achieved over 80%.

The Dream Nails Government Accredited Training School, boasts the only qualified government accredited Educator, Shari Coetzer.

The nail training school runs for three weeks of every month.

The cost of training indudes:-

• Training manual
• Products used during training
• Equipment needed for the application of all systems (excluding gel lamp)
• NSI starter kit

• Acrylic sculptured

• Gel tip application
• Fiberglass tip application
