Quad-Bikes also available At one with nature, Nature Discovery Tours offers riders personalized off-road motorcycle and quad trail riding tours along the mountain tracks and forestry roads surrounding the Elgin Valley, 70 Km (45 min) from Cape Town. Longer tours are planned with groups of four to six, travelling by mini-bus to wild natural areas where full day off-road trails rides to largely unseen areas .
A qualified field guide leads the way and provides interesting educational talks and cares for the needs of the group .

Environmental impact
Our focus is on the natural environment, and not on off-road racing! Although our routes offer fairly challenging off-road riding, we ride responsibly, with no impact on ecologically sensitive areas.
Our motorcycles are adapted for minimal impact, and we stay on existing tracks which can sustain continuous use.
A portion of our fees go directly to nature conservation, to help maintain our natural heritage.
The Routes
Designed together with nature conservation personnel, our trails create an exceptional experience of variable habitats. Our tours, led by registered guides, will highlight the biodiversity - 1600 plant species grow in this magnificent area! Through on-going efforts to open up new and exciting routes, we have created exclusive trails which include access to nature reserves, state land and private properties.

Included in this tour is the Cederberg mountain wilderness, with it's spectacular mountain scenery, rock formations and peace and quiet.
